Erin & Todd

Erin and Todd had a wonderful wedding, she really threw a great event! And the scenery was gorgeous!

This one pretty much describes Erin, one of the most laid back brides ever, some how she managed to stay chill, even on such a crazy day. How refreshing :)

Erin and Todd were also super adventurous, we went on a little mini hike to get to this location. Totally worth  it!

Everyone is almost 3!

In the past week I have photographed 3 kids that are 2, turning 3 in August. Weird coincidence, huh? This is a fun and definitely interesting age to try to get good images of and I'm sure it's an interesting life having a child this age at home! Anyway this is Hayden, and her mom Renee, they were a lot of fun to shoot with, and I found that I liked a lot of their images. Here a just couple... P.S. I'll post some of the other 2 almost 3 year old kids soon!

YAY! My first published work!!!! If ya get a chance it's on pg. 2 of The Kernel tomorrow :)

The North West Haiti Christian Mission feeds 10,000 Haitians every day; the “Granmoun Feeding” is one way they accomplish this. The “Granmoun”, or old people of Haiti are often forgotten and become ‘misplaced’ in society. This little girl was waiting for her “Granmoun” to finish her meal. I don’t know if she got a meal that day, or if she had one the day before. All i know is that she loved having her picture taken… everyone there did… I couldn’t stay there and give her meals, or take her back with me as much as I wanted to. But I could take her picture, even thought it didn’t seem like enough.

Haiti 2009

Haiti is the most beautiful place I have ever been...
I don't mean to pick favorites, however I have to say Tatiana was the cutest, sweetest, girl in the orphanage. She pooped on me and I still loved her....

Kadiz... this dog was so sweet. A blue healer collie mix.

This girl was waiting for her care taker to finish eating at the "Granmoun" feeding. The North West Haiti Christian mission does a lot of great programs, this is one of them. They feed a big group of "Granmoun" (Creole for Old People) everyday. This little girl loved having her picture taken, well everyone did.

This would be a typical Haitian toy.... if you were lucky.

The waterfall was a beautiful place...
However, the children there are even more beautiful than the scenery.

Leaving Haiti was easy at first... I really wanted to be home. But then it got harder, when I realized I probably wouldn't be back for another year.... I left a part of me in Haiti... I love this place.
